Work rider permits

Through the work of the ITBA, IRTA and Horse Racing Ireland’s equuip department, the horse racing and breeding industry have secured work rider permits. Given the nature of the Work Rider occupation, an application for the role may satisfy the conditions for the grant of a Sports and Cultural Employment Permit (SCEP), rather then a General Employment Permit, subject to the relevant criteria.
