Interviews can be a daunting experience, but a little preparation can have a big impact and make you more comfortable and confident. By following these simple tips you can make sure that you present yourself in the best possible light. Do your research on the company or business you are interviewing with. A little bit of knowledge can go a long way
Be punctual. Arriving late for an interview sends out a bad signal
Dress appropriately for the working environment you are applying to be a part of
Make eye contact with the interviewer and have a firm handshake
Know your CV. You will be asked about your previous jobs and qualifications so prepare answers beforehand
Don’t respond with 'Yes' or 'No'. Give plenty of details and examples in your answer
Listen carefully to the questions asked to ensure you give a relevant answer
Don’t be afraid to ask the interviewer questions about the job or the company
