• Deliver practical instruction in riding, stable management, horse care and associated theory sessions.

• Support the Practical Training and Operations Manager in maintaining operational readiness of the training barn, ensuring horses, facilities and equipment are prepared for daily training activities.
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe, organised and professional yard environment, demonstrating excellence in horse care, horsemanship and stable management.
• Undertake and oversee routine stable duties, including mucking out, feeding, bedding management and yard organisation, modelling industry best practice for learners at all times.
• Take responsibility for the daily care, welfare and presentation of horses, ensuring the highest standards of stable management are consistently maintained.
• Exercise, school and assess RACE horses to maintain fitness, monitor performance and support the practical training programme.

• Significant experience working within a professional horse racing environment.
• High standard of riding and schooling racehorses.
• Experience delivering practical instruction and providing learner feedback.
• Full clean driving licence (HGV/Jeep & Horsebox licence desirable).
• Garda Vetting (required).
• Familiarity with IHRB/Weatherbys systems and digital learning platforms.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Six months fixed term.
• 37.5 hours per week.

• Lead and push horses into starting stalls, blindfolding horses if instructed and closing rear gates.
