Ploughing Presence Delivers National Reach for Equuip
Equuip engaged thousands of visitors through racing experiences, education and collaboration with Agri Aware.

Lots of smiling faces and notable names at the National Ploughing Championships 2026.
Equuip enjoyed a highly successful presence at the 2026 National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Co. Offaly, engaging with visitors from across Ireland as part of the Agri Aware stand.
Almost 250,000 people attended the event over three days, providing Equuip with an important national platform to showcase education, training and career opportunities across the Irish racing and breeding industry.
The RACE mobile racing simulator was a major attraction, delivering hundreds of rides alongside masterclasses featuring special guests from the racing world. Competitions and activities also generated hundreds of new mailing-list sign-ups, allowing Equuip to continue engaging with visitors beyond the event.
Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Martin Heydon visited the stand on the opening day, meeting the Equuip and Agri Aware teams and hearing more about their work. Interactions with An Taoiseach Micheál Martin and MEP Nina Carberry also highlighted the significant political importance of the event.
Equuip General Manager Elaine Burke said: “The National Ploughing Championships gave us an exceptional opportunity to bring racing directly to a huge and diverse audience. The response to the simulator and our education programmes was extremely positive, while Minister Heydon’s visit demonstrated valuable support for our work. Our collaboration with Agri Aware was central to the success of the event, and we are very grateful to their team for helping us deliver such an engaging and impactful presence.”
